• The fabric is soft and shiny: it is a viscose satin. Viscose is produced from the wood pulp of trees. Through a chemical process, the pulp is transformed into a dense mass with a consistency similar to that of honey, indeed viscous. Viscose satin combines the qualities of cotton and silk. On the one hand, it is soft, shiny and skin-friendly like silk, which is why the fabric is also known as artificial silk. On the other hand, it is just as durable, breathable and absorbent as cotton
