Founded by the young designer Johanna Sort in 2019 in Bogota, Colombia, Sort is an exclusive lingerie brand that celebrates the body and sensuality of women.
The collection is made up of fifteen unique pieces: bodysuits and lingerie sets made of luxurious floral lace with elegant satin and velvet details.
The garments are made one by one, by hand! In Dubai in Johanna's atelier.
Fabrics are wrapped around a dummy using pins until the perfect swatch is achieved. The next step is to create patterns for each piece, constantly seeking a balance between lines and textures.
Finally, the fabric is cut by hand and carefully assembled piece by piece.
Johanna was born and raised in Bogotá. Her passion for lingerie began at the age of 12, when her mother decided to start making corsets as a hobby and asked her to help her.
After graduating in Industrial Design and after working for a year as a Visual Producer for an international Colombian magazine, she founded her lingerie brand Sort, which means "luck".
Johanna presented her brand at Bogota Fashion Week in 2019 after which she moved to Dubai with her husband, where they currently live and work.
