What is babydoll and which ones to choose?

Hi girls! Do you know exactly what a babydoll is and what item of women's lingerie it refers to? It is certainly the garment considered sexiest! It is often confused with the petticoat, in fact it is very similar. The babydoll is a cross between a slip and a night top. It is much shorter than the slip but longer than a top, generally in tulle or lace with plays of transparencies or totally transparent, and is usually combined with a more or less sexy slip.

I don't know about you, but I love babydolls!

Brief story of how this love was born: ten years ago, in Milan, I had recently moved and I was the guest of a dear friend of mine but I had forgotten my pajamas. So she kindly lent me a gorgeous pink silk babydoll with black lace embroidery by Agent Provocateur...very elegant, light and sexy. It's clear that since then the babydoll has become my absolute favorite undergarment!

Every year lingerie brands create beautiful babydolls and those from Victoria's Secret and Intimissimi probably immediately come to mind, which are undoubtedly beautiful but there are many others.
